Chef Peter & His Matcha Shake

In this week's installment of our Quick & Mighty Video series we introduce you to another food smartie in the Power Supply network of local chefs. Meet Peter He, owner of People's Bao and the creator of delicious Asian-inspired pork and chicken dishes gracing the Power Supply menu each week.

Peter's brewed up a quick and energizing shake with the fun twist of green tea powder for a healthful (and colorful) boost that's easy as pie to prepare. In this week's video Peter tries it with frozen watermelon but I've now made it a half-dozen times with everything from frozen mango chunks (like you can get at Trader Joe's) to canteloupe and honey dew so this is truly an anytime treat.
